The Architect of Modern Analog

MICHAEL VALLETTA

Director of Design Operations | Curation Strategist

The Philosophy

Luxury is not found in the acquisition of things, but in the intentionality of the environment. I believe that high-performance modern living requires a return to the "Analog Core"—a belief that the spaces we inhabit and the tools we pilot should possess both soul and precision.

The Background

For over a decade, I have operated at the intersection of high-volume trade and complex account management. At Wayfair, I specialized in architecting solutions for the most discerning professionals in the industry, managing the logistics and operational standards that allow high-design projects to move from concept to reality. I learned that the difference between a project and a masterpiece is the quality of the curation.

The Mission

Based in the rugged, spruce-lined coast of Biddeford, Maine, I founded Country Road Chronicles and the Valletta Edit to document the "New Standard of the North." Whether I am remodeling a high-performance home gym, curating the essential gear for a Grand Tour through the White Mountains, or piloting a PHEV through the Maine backcountry, my mission is the same: Elevation in Every Mile.

I don't just write about the Modern Analog lifestyle. I architect the operations that make it possible.

Let’s Work Together

Precision in execution begins with a clear objective. Whether you are looking to architect a high-performance design operation, collaborate on a brand narrative, or inquire about a bespoke curation project, the Valletta Studio is currently accepting select engagements for the 2026-2027 season.

Select Your Objective:

Design Operations & Strategy: For high-volume trade partnerships and project management.

Brand Curation: For editorial, media, and 'Modern Analog' lifestyle collaborations.

Private Engagements: For bespoke interior, gym, or studio build-outs.
